Asbestech have just come to the end of their first season of sponsoring the Year 5 Foxes and Year 6 Wolves MLS girls football teams in Barnet and what a season it’s been as both teams won their respective leagues in their first year of trying!
The teams were set up just before COVID hit the UK and have attracted huge interest from the local community in North London. There are now over 30 girls attending training sessions on a Friday evening with 2 teams playing league games on a Sunday and Asbestech have agreed to carry on their sponsorship and association with the club for the next season. Daniel Chalkley, Asbestech’ s Managing Director said, ‘’ With 3 daughters who play football, sponsoring the MLS girls’ teams was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. Everyone at MLS is driven and committed to providing the very best education and football coaching, whilst ensuring the girls continue to learn and develop. The club have a set of values which the girls can take with them into adulthood, and I’m delighted that we can help them on their journey’’.
