Asbestech was chosen by our client to undertake the removal of asbestos containing materials to this heavy industrial site prior to it’s demolition for redevelopment works. We attended a series of meetings with our client (ACD) prior to being put forward for approval by BAE Systems, who then carried out their own rigorous audit of us before we were awarded the contract.

The works involved removal of a large variety of asbestos containing materials from diverse locations over the extensive site, several acres in size. A great deal of asbestos insulation board was in place, together with extensive use of sprayed limpet insulation which was removed using a quill system.

We worked hard with our client to give them the flexibility they needed to achieve their own goals, and the site was completed on time, on budget and without incident.
